An international strongman tournament with the participation of famous champions will be held

The most outstanding strongmen from the USA, Great Britain and the Baltic countries have already been invited to participate in the competition. In particular, Evan Singleton (England), Gavi Bilton (USA) and weightlifting legend Lithuanian Zhydrunas Savickas, whose achievements are listed in the Guinness Book of Records, will come to Lutsk.


Oleksiy Novikov, Pavlo Kordiyaka and Roman Grekov will compete on the Ukrainian side.


The event is timed to the Defender of Ukraine Day and will take place on October 15.

Another working meeting was held today to discuss organizational issues, with the participation of the Chairman of the Volyn Regional Council Hryhoriy Nedopad, First Deputy Yuriy Polishchuk, Director of the charity fund "Dobra Sprava" Yuriy Sliva, heads of regional communal institutions Oleksandr Kulakov and Yana Romanyuk.


As part of the tournament, the teams will perform 5 exercises, in between which sports, children's, and music groups will perform.


The organizer of the tournament is the "Good Cause" charity fund in partnership with the Volyn Regional Council. Our foundation undertakes to provide the financial side of international competitions with the help of sponsors.


Co-organizers are Volyn Regional Youth Center and Volyn Regional Center "Sports for All".
